It's been two years since I became your new pastor...

and I'm so thankful for God's kindness in bringing me to Mill Springs! After more than twenty years away, to come back "home" has been a delight! My wonderful Denise will verify this: sometimes we'll be driving down the road when I'll suddenly look at her and exclaim, "I still can't believe we have a Jefferson City address!" Truly, the Lord is good!

What I also can't believe is that it's been two years! Time moves so quickly doesn't it? As James puts it: "What is your life like? For you are a puff of smoke that appears for a short time and then vanishes" (Jas 4:14; NET). Please know dear church that, while these years really have gone quickly, being with you has meant a steady, day-after-day counting of my blessings. I love you, and thank you for loving me. Thank you also for loving my family, and for praying for us the way that you do. Most of all, thank you for loving our great and mighty God -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit -- to whom all praise is due forever!

Together, may we as a church join the Apostle Paul: "Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Phil 3:13b-14).

Joyfully yours,

Greg

Church Bylaw Revision

The Deacons would like to propose a change to our current Church Bylaws and would like for each church member to take time to review the changes so that a church vote can be held at our Wednesday, August 5th (7:30PM) Second Quarter Business Meeting.

In order to review the document, just click on the title Church Bylaw Revisions below.

Please note that the changes are noted in the blue and red font.
