A Message from Pastor Greg:

The love we have been examining in our morning series is by no means a squishy, flimsy, gelatin-like love.

Oh yes it's compassionate and kind; but it's also courageous and strong. In fact it MUST be so,

because the Christian life is lived on a spiritual battlefield.  Every follower of Christ is in a serious

fight with a serious Enemy. And we must know how to fight against him! Join us as we train for the battle.

Veterans Day (by Cheryl Dyson)

On Veterans Day we honor all,
Who answered to a service call.
Soldiers young, and soldiers old,
Fought for freedom, brave and bold.
Some have lived, while others died,
And all of them deserve our pride.
We’re proud of all the soldiers who,
Kept thinking of red, white and blue.
They fought for us and all our rights,
They fought through many days and nights.
And though we may not know each name,
We thank ALL veterans just the same.

Prepare your hearts as we draw close to another Advent season,

beginning on Sunday, November 30th.
